Canadian Silver Dollars
The Royal Canadian Mint issued the first silver dollar in 1935 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V, all Canadian silver dollar coins struck for circulation between 1935 and 1967 were struck to a standard of 23.33 grams of 80% silver with 20% copper, and are 36 mm in diameter and 2.8 mm thick. Each coin contains 0.6 troy ounces of actual silver, most silver dollars have the standard voyageur design which was designed by Emanuel Hahn. Coins minted in 1939, 1949, 1958, 1964 and 1967 have different designs on the reverse of the coins, all other silver dollars had the voyageur design.

1964 silver dollar, Confederation Meetings Commemorative, the design shows the French fleur-de-lis the Irish shamrock the Scotish thistle and English rose, design by Dinko Vodanovic & Thomas Shingle.

1967 silver dollar, Commemorative for Centennial of Confederation, this design show a Canada goose in flight, design by Alex Colville & Myron Cook.
